Sex Offender Information

The Family Crimes Unit of the Stockton Police Department Investigations Division monitors and tracks sex offender registrants living in Stockton city limits.

• California Penal Code Section 290 lists convictions that require sex offender registration including indecent exposure, rape, sex trafficking, and crimes involving minors. 

• Registration can also be required for other types of sexually motivated crimes, such as a sex offender convicted of a sex crime in another state. 

• Please Note: Not all sex offender registrants are child molesters.
