Animal Protection League 

The Animal Protection League (Friends of the Stockton Animal Shelter) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that has been supporting the Stockton Animal Shelter since 1986. The Animal Protection League currently provides veterinary and sheltering support. In addition, APL partners with the Shelter by organizing many of the volunteers and fundraising activities of the Shelter.

PetSmart Charities

PetSmart Charities is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The goal of PetSmart Charities is to find a lifelong, loving home for every pet. They get close every day with adoption events and centers, pet rescue programs, and support for spay and neuter efforts. Both the Stockton Animal Shelter and the Animal Protection League are beneficiaries of their goals.

Hill's Science Pet Food Program 

The Hill's Science Pet Food Program has been providing food for shelter animals since 2002. Hill's accomplishes this by providing shelters like ours, deeply discounted pet food for shelter animals. Hill's provides a free two-pound bag of pet food for every dog or cat adopted from the Stockton Animal Shelter and coupons for additional discounted items.
